CookieDream's Next Top Model. Cycle 2. *4th Epi- Pg. 3*
These girls are my original C3 girls. But I am not too fond of the C2 girls so they would not make for a very interesting cycle. So I will just use these instead.
I've been asked why some of my contestants from last cycle had face paint. Some girls this cycle have the same. When I made all these dolls I just made them for myself as something to pass the time with. I never thought that anybody else would ever see them. But in the creation process I thought that face paint gave some of them that little extra spice. Some pizazz. So those red stripes on Cecile's face are not wounds or scars or anything. Just face paint.
Now on with the girls.
Anita:
Cecile:
Emerald:
Goldie:
Hannah:
Hilde:
Ingrid:
Jubilee:
Nickla:
Saluki:
Stripal:
Zoe:

I will be using this randomizer again this cycle. I know it produced some unpopular results last time around but that's still half the fun of it for me. So it is more like actually watching the show instead of basing off favorites.

If I get home semi-early tonight (which is anytime before 1:30 AM for me here on the west coast of USA) I'll write up the first episode. I'm anxious to find out who goes home first.

Okay okay I am sorry for the delay on the first episode. I got home late last night and I just finished writing one but when I read it over I was extremely unsatisfied with everything. The challenge was lame. The photoshoot was lame. My creativity level must be low because I have a lot on my mind right now. But I'll do it soon.

The Girls Who Go Nude
Week: 1
Models Remaining: 12
Note: I will not be covering the auditions/semi-finals since I do not want this entry to run longer than it probably already will:
After weeks of tapes, interviews, polaroids, and phone calls, the final twelve girls have been selected. The competition starts out with the lucky finalists flying out to New York City where they will all begin their journey. For now their loft is empty but as the flights arrive each girl will be individually escorted to her new home. Jubilee is the first to arrive and is quickly joined by Goldie. The two quickly form a friendship and soon a small group as Hilde and Cecile are the next two to show up. Throughout the day the echos bounce louder off the wall as the number of girls collects until the final girl, Saluki, arrives at around 5 PM. There are twelve beds to accommodate all twelve girls so that there is no immediate bickering. The first few days are spent with the girls getting acquainted with each other and waiting in anxiety for their first task.
On the third day the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night and a voice comes on over the intercom system telling the girls to collect one outfit, their make-up, but to be out of the house within three minutes. Some of them panic, thinking that the building could be ablaze and then some are to groggy to even care and just do as they are told. They make their way outside and are quickly shuffled into a limo. Inside the limo is a Tyra mail explaining that the limo is going to drive for five minutes and in that time they must all get change outfits, fix their hair, and do their make-up. They have each been given a compact which will be their only source of reflection.
Challenge:
The girls all get to it. Zoe, Ingrid, and Goldie all seem to do it with ease. Zoe states that during high school she would often wake up late and was used to getting ready on the car ride to school. WHILE driving. Other girls are used to a more prepared or pampered morning though, namely Anita, Emerald, and Nickla. Foundation flies and the hair swats faces.
The limo comes to a stop. Time is up. They open the doors to find themselves right where they started. On the sidewalk in front of their loft! Tyra is standing there with Paulina. Tyra explains that models sometimes do not have much time at all before appointments or go-sees and they must get ready in the car. The girls will not be judged on the clothing they chose since they did not know what they were dressing for but on how well they managed to get ready in a hurry. Most of the girls did a decent enough job but one girl in particular has a look that most would think took an hour to prepare. And that girl is.... Goldie:
Nobody is a poor sport and she is given hearty congratulations. The girls are dismissed and told that they can go get another hour or two of sleep.
The excitement and even fear woke them all up so nobody manages to get a wink and instead share a breakfast.
The next day the girls get a surprise visitor! Mr.Jay! The poor man is nearly smothered to death in hugs and deafened by the shrieks. He asks them all to go to the rooftop where the pool is.
Photoshoot:
Mr.Jay wants to test how comfortable they are with nudity. Their photoshoot has a story though. They are sunbathing nude by the pool when their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/lover comes out. The frame will be from a side view so there will be no full frontal nudity even though they are nude. They must cover their breasts though. They are to look at the camera as they would their partner. Seductive. Cute. Come hither. It's up to them. It's not so much a fashion shot, but a good way to weed out who is willing to bare it all for the industry.
Most of the girls are okay with it if not a little worried. They figure if nothing can be seen then there is no harm. Some are even enthusiastic about it and have no inhibitions at all. Jubilee, Saluki, and Goldie strip down with a smile on their face. Anita and Zoe are extremely uncomfortable. They are both very young and a little less confident than the others. Cecile used to way 190 LBS but has slimmed down quite a bit over the last year. Unfortunately her physical appearance has not yet lined up with how her mind thinks of it and she suffers from severe body issues and is extremely hesitant to undress. But she provides some beautiful shots. Emerald mentions that nobody has since her naked since her baby years except herself and she is uncomfortable but she takes it like a champ. The photoshoot wraps up and the girls are told that the next day their first panel will take place.
Nobody knows what to expect. Who will be the first sent home?
Panel:
The girls meet the judges for the first time. The panel members are the same as cycle one. Janice, Paulina, Nigel, and of course Tyra.
Judging goes underway.
Anita: She was uncomfortable with nudity and it showed on her shots. The one chosen was beautiful and relaxed but Tyra calls the film a complete disaster.
Cecile: Her image issues are overwhelming and not one shot was decent. Worry was all over her face and she did not know how to position her body.
Emerald: She gets kudos for overcoming her fear and her shot is nice but her physical appearance is too "mall girl" for panel's liking.
Goldie: She won the challenge that week and topped it off with an absolutely stunning photo as well as having a great attitude.
Hannah: She may need to work on her posing some but her face was to die for in nearly every shot.
Hilde: She needs to relax her face since she has rather harsh features.
Ingrid: Opposite from Hilde, she has soft features that can come off as boring and needs to work her face more.
Jubilee: She has one of the strongest looks there and went into the photoshoot with an open mind, but did not take it very seriously.
Nickla: The judges find her demeanor to be that of a spoiled princess but the girl has some serious potential.
Saluki: Her film looked like that of a professional model and her exotic look captivates the judges. Nigel in particular.
Stripal: Her saccharine personality captures the heart of the judges and her picture was stunning as well. One of the favorites of the judges.
Zoe: She performed well on the challenge but during the shoot she let her nerves get the best of her and she looks stiff and near tears in almost every single frame.
A decision has been made.

- Spoiler:
- Cecile. You are a beautiful woman and you have a beautiful body. But we don't think that "I've lost weight" is a good excuse to be so nervous of showing it. This industry is not one for modesty. There will be times then you will have to be nude in the middle of a crowded room and we have doubts if you can handle it.
- Spoiler:
- Zoe. You don't stand here just because you were apprehensive about nudity. You stand here because you didn't manage to suppress your nervousness in your photos. Going through your photos was tragic. I felt like I was looking at child pornography rather than a sensuous lover because of how upset you looked. We're not sure if you're strong enough for this industry.
Congratulations

Cecile: I wish I had stayed a little longer since I think I had one of the strongest looks here but there's nothing I can do now. I am not bitter. They were right. At this point in my life I don't think I can handle the industry. But I'm proud of the progress I've made with my body and becoming more comfortable with it is just something I have to work on. I'm personally rooting for Anita! She's a sweetie.

Re: CookieDream's Next Top Model. Cycle 2. *4th Epi- Pg. 3*
The Girl Who Actually Mourns
Week: 2
Models Remaining: 11
It takes a few days after the first elimination until the peace in the house is immediately disrupted. One day, Anita and Hilde are getting ready in the mirror together when Anita accidentally drops her mascara in Hilde's glass of water which is resting on the counter. Hilde goes berserk. She starts shouting at Anita, calling her a worthless cow for "destroying her water" even after Anita's sincere apologies. Anita can only be pushed for so long before she pushes back though and she grabs the glass of water and tosses the liquid in Hilde's face. Hilde jumps to attack but is held back by Jubilee and Saluki. Anita immediately feels remorse for her actions and attempts to apologies but Hilde only returns them with a cold silence.
The girls get a Tyra mail. Well. Kind of. It's simply a bouquet of flowers that simply says "Tyra" on the card attached. The girls finish getting ready and head to their destination.
Challenge:
The girls arrive at a glorious garden. The vibrant colors surrounding them could almost induce a seizure. Paulina walks out of nowhere, looking like a goddess of nature with her long, curled locks and jewel-like eyes. She asks the girls to go make themselves a bouquet of any variety they'd like using a dozen flowers. The girls do so and return. Today is all about posing with your face. The bouquets will be used as props and using only their face and nothing more the girls must show Paulina how well they can adapt to such a request. Paulina asks them to imagine that she is the camera.
Most of the girls have no idea what to do. Nickla and Goldie stand there with the bouquet next to their faces but keep a blank expression. Paulina can't even tell if they've begun their challenge yet or if they're just standing idly waiting for direction. Anita's gleeful expressions look almost cheesy but they'd work beautifully for a flower ad. Saluki and Hannah are subtle but give off loving expressions that make it seem like she'd actually just received the bouquet from an anonymous admirer.
Zoe is terribly awkward and has no idea what to do which slightly irritates Paulina and she asks how Zoe intends to be a model when she doesn't know how to convey thoughts and emotions through her face. After all the girls go up Paulina announces the winner. And the winner is... Saluki.
The girls thank Paulina for the experience and all return to the loft where bad news awaits. There is a message for Goldie. Her cousin has been killed in a car accident. Goldie breaks down in tears. She was very close with the cousin. The other girls try to comfort her but the pain of such a loss is too great and the words meant for comfort just go in one ear and out the other. The next day the girls get a Tyra mail. This time it is another bouquet. Except the flowers are all dead and dried. The girls go to their next photoshoot as is told of them.
Photoshoot:
The girls arrive at a cemetery. Goldie is distraught and angry and wonders if that was intentional since similar things have happened in other versions of the Top Model franchise (HIKAHLEN&JAEL). Mr.Jay shows up and tells them their photoshoot theme for today. Yesterday they learned to pose with their faces and today they will be put to the test. They will portray grieving widows kneeling at their husband's grave. As almost macabre as it sounds there is a point to this. It is to see how versatile the girls can truly be outside of typically "pretty" or "pissed off" model faces.
Saluki really uses yesterday's lesson to her advantage. She has a somber face but not an ugly, sad face. Hilde looks more angry than sad in her shots but it just might work since that is typically an emotional phase people go through when they lose a loved one. Anita just stares blankly at the grave. She looks bored. Mr.Jay tells her that she looks more like she is over it and already ready to go on to a new, better man. Emerald's pictures are beautifully tragic. Goldie pretends the grave is that of her cousin and even when the tears flow the shots don't look too exaggerate or anything. But the same can't be said for Ingrid who acts a hot mess by taking it too far by looking like she is having a breakdown.
Everything wraps up and the girls return home where they receive a Tyra mail notifying them of the impending judging the next day.
Panel:
The girls are introduced to the judges again and everything goes underway.
Anita: Every single picture in her film looked exactly the same. Pretty girl staring blankly at a grave which may as well just be a rock in the ground.
Emerald: Her shots are almost frightening because they are so realistic yet beautiful at the same time.
Goldie: The judges pretend to not know about her cousin's death but commend her for using it as inspiration for the shoot. The results are chilling.
Hannah: Nothing particularly stands out to the judges. She doesn't quite know how to work her face very much and she wrinkled her rather large chin in every shot.
Hilde: Though the emotion she gave was not what was asked of her it still works. Regardless, she needs to learn to take direction better.
Ingrid: The photoshoot was one that was obviously meant to be a sad one and Ingrid did just that, but it is a hyperbole of what was asked of her. Almost like she was mocking the assignment.
Jubilee: Great picture. Her quiet demeanor makes the judges question if she has the personality for the industry though.
Nickla: Honestly, her picture was not the best. But her spunk and wit captured the panel's heart and she almost convinced them to like it, much like Natasha from ANTM C8.
Saluki: Girl knows how to work.
Stripal: Her picture wasn't bad but she spoke in a rather snippy manner to Janice during panel and the judges see a lack of respect for authority.
Zoe: She definitely improved from last week. But is it enough?
The girls are called back.
Elimination #2:
The first name... that I will call... is...
Will
Congratulations
The original elimination order was very different and a fan favorite was actually meant to go home but when I read back I was unsatisfied with a few things and altered the episode so I thought it only fair to make a new call-out order as well. I didn't change it just because she was a favorite of mine and others though. .

The first name... that I will call... is...
- Spoiler:
- Goldie
- Spoiler:
- Emerald
- Spoiler:
- Saluki
- Spoiler:
- Nickla
- Spoiler:
- Jubilee
- Spoiler:
- Hilde
- Spoiler:
- Zoe
- Spoiler:
- Hannah
- Spoiler:
- Stripal
Will
- Spoiler:
- Ingrid and Anita
- Spoiler:
- Ingrid: It is apparent to us that you did not take this photoshoot seriously. Like you thought it was sooo below your skill. Well judging by your performance it obviously isn't. This is not a joke to us and it is not a joke to any of those girls standing over there. Especially not Goldie. Even if it is not real you are in no place to belittle personal grief.
- Spoiler:
- Anita. We think you are resting on pretty. You thought that you could get away with just staring at the grave. If your man were to die would you just sit there and stare at his grave? Mr.Jay commented that it looked as if you were bored and already contemplating about a new man and we see the same thing. We want to see drive. Not an assumption that you'll win because you're pretty.
Congratulations
- Spoiler:
- Anita.
The original elimination order was very different and a fan favorite was actually meant to go home but when I read back I was unsatisfied with a few things and altered the episode so I thought it only fair to make a new call-out order as well. I didn't change it just because she was a favorite of mine and others though. .

Re: CookieDream's Next Top Model. Cycle 2. *4th Epi- Pg. 3*
Ingrid: I've never known anybody who has died so I didn't know how to play that role for the photoshoot. Besides... how many editorials do you see where the model is crying on a grave? This is crap.

Jubilee better step it up too, show more personality at judging. Hope she doesn't get the Katarzyna edit because that would win she wont win!!
